Shows built for young audiences
Tripp's school and library shows are interactive from start to finish. Kids call out, volunteer and help make the magic happen, which keeps a room of young audience members engaged far better than a lecture-style show.
He performed the Tripp Coleman Magic Show at the Regina Public Library's Sherwood Village branch on February 16, 2026, a free drop-in program for ages 4 and up. He has also performed for a combined seniors and day care audience, which is about as wide an age range as a magician gets.
Good fits for this show
- Public library programs, including school-break and summer reading events
- Elementary school assemblies and fun days
- Day cares and after-school programs
- Seniors' homes and intergenerational events
- Community centres and family nights
What organizers need to provide
For a classroom or small room, nothing more than a clear space at the front. For a gym or large hall, Tripp uses a wireless headset microphone and a PA system, so let him know whether the venue has sound available.
Planning a school or library show
- Choose the slot. Library programs often run during school breaks and summer reading season; schools often book assemblies or fun days. Give Tripp your preferred dates early.
- Know your audience size. A library story room and a full gym need different setups. Tell Tripp roughly how many kids and adults to expect.
- Set the seating. Kids on the floor up front and adults behind gives everyone a clear view and makes volunteering easy.
- Check your photo policy. If your school or library has rules about photos of children, share them so the show runs smoothly.
- Promote it. Billing the show by age (for example, ages 4 and up) helps families decide whether to come.
Pricing for schools and libraries
Shows start at around $400, depending on length and travel. Library and school programmers can call or text 306-209-8861 with their date range and audience size.
